The Student Outreach Program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation was successfully organized by Agnes Towards Community (ATC) in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, on 17 January 2026 at St Raymonds High School, Vamanjoor, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p. m.. The program aimed to create awareness about entrepreneurship and innovation among school students and to inspire them to think creatively and independently from a young age.

The program began with a warm welcome and an opening address by Thanmayee from III BA. To engage the students and create a comfortable learning environment, an ice-breaking session was conducted, which helped the 8th and 9th standard students participate actively. This was followed by a brief introductory talk on entrepreneurship by Kushi and Kowshik, who explained the concept of entrepreneurship in a simple and relatable manner, highlighting how ideas, creativity, and problem-solving can lead to meaningful ventures.

The first speaker of the session, Ms Maleeha, a student of 2nd BBA, shared her personal entrepreneurial journey and spoke about her experience of starting and managing her own business. Her talk focused on motivation, challenges, learning experiences, and the importance of perseverance. The students showed keen interest and actively listened to her real-life experiences.

Following this, an interactive activity and games session was conducted by Anvitha, Viya, Selva, and Sneha, which encouraged teamwork, creativity, and participation among the students. The activities helped reinforce entrepreneurial thinking in a fun and engaging manner.

The second speaker, Ms Farha, a student of 2nd BCA, spoke about her entrepreneurial venture and shared insights into how passion, skills, and innovation play a crucial role in building a business. Her session emphasized confidence, adaptability, and the importance of learning from failures.

Another round of activities and games followed, allowing students to apply what they had learned through interactive participation. The enthusiasm and involvement of the students reflected the success of the session.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Velisha, who expressed gratitude to the school management, teachers, speakers, organizers, and students for their cooperation and active participation. Sweets were distributed among students as an encouragement for their participation.

Overall, the outreach program was highly successful and impactful. It provided school students with early exposure to entrepreneurship and innovation, inspired them through real-life examples, and fostered creativity and confidence. The program strengthened the institution’s commitment to community engagement and the promotion of entrepreneurial culture among young learners.
