The resource person for the session was Dr. Prashanth, Assistant professor of Economics from the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, and an AMFI-certified trainer in mutual funds. He delivered an insightful talk on financial literacy, investment planning, and mutual funds, emphasizing the importance of early savings and smart financial management.
The program commenced with a prayer led by Suhana, student from III B.A followed by a welcome address by Gloria, student from III B.A. Vote of thanks was proposed by Amrutha, student from I B.Com. The event was compered by Ms. Tanisha Shaktawat, student from III B.A. Ms. Florine Clara Dsouza, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, coordinated the event. Ms. Shyni Delisha Monteiro, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics was also present.
The programme was exclusively organised for women students. The programme concluded with the national anthem. The event was successful in creating awareness about the importance of financial literacy and responsible money management among students.
