The journey commenced on 18 January 2026 from the college premises, with students traveling overnight to Goa. Upon arrival, the students checked into their accommodation, freshened up, and had breakfast before beginning the scheduled activities. As part of the cultural and experiential learning component, the students visited prominent landmarks including Fort Aguada, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, and the Basilica of Bom Jesus, gaining insights into Goa’s historical heritage, tourism industry, and regional culture.
On the second day, the group visited the IFB Global Washing Machine Manufacturing Unit, where industry experts provided a detailed explanation of the manufacturing process. Students were familiarized with various stages such as raw material handling, assembly line operations, quality control, automation practices, and final product testing, offering practical exposure to operations management and industrial processes. The visit was followed by a cruise experience and a visit to Colva Beach, adding to the holistic learning experience. The group returned overnight as per schedule.
Organized in collaboration with Coastal Travels, this educational trip offered valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom by integrating industrial exposure, cultural enrichment, and experiential learning.
A total of 39 students participated in this enriching journey, accompanied by Dr. Sabina D’Souza and Mr. Meslon D’Souza, Assistant Professors from the Department of Business Administration.
