The Department of Clinical Psychology at St. Agnes Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, Mangaluru, organized an Interclass Infographic Competition for I Year MSc Clinical Psychology students on Monday, 23rd June 2025, during their Research Methods class hour. Themed “Physiological Measurement of Data Collection in Research,” the activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of key physiological tools used in psychological research and clinical practice. Each student was assigned a unique physiological measurement technique, such as MRI, fMRI, PET, EEG, MEG, TMS, and others. Students created A3-sized digital infographics including definitions, data collection processes, clinical applications, and real-world examples. They effectively incorporated diagrams, visuals, and APA references. The competition culminated in individual presentations, each lasting 7 minutes. The Best Infographic Award was presented to Judith Michelle Dsouza for her outstanding work on Functional MRI (fMRI), while the Most Clinically Relevant Infographic Award was awarded to Rakshitha R for her presentation on Magnetoencephalography (MEG). The session was intellectually enriching and aligned with the course objective of deepening student knowledge about physiological methods of data collection, bridging theory with practical relevance in psychological research.
