Dr Tangarani, initiated the session with light warm-up exercises, emphasizing the importance of preparing the body before any intense workout. The atmosphere quickly shifted into high energy as she led the gathering into an intense Zumba dance workout, filled with rhythmic movements, cheerful music, and contagious enthusiasm. The session was not just about physical activity it was a joyful reminder of how important it is to pause and care for one’s mental and emotional well-being. On the occasion of International Self-Care Day, the Cultural Association and the Sports Association of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Student Council, organized a vibrant and energizing Zumba session on 24th July 2025 at the Open Air Stage. The event began at 3:00 PM with a warm welcome to our esteemed guest, Dr Tangarani, the college’s Physical Director, whose dynamic presence set the tone for the day. She was welcomed with a flower bouquet as a gesture of gratitude and respect.
