The programme commenced with the Master of Ceremony, Ms. Roshel D’Souza, welcoming the gathering. Sr. Dr. M. Vinora AC greeted the guests with the traditional PranpodUdak ceremony. The guests of honour were Mr. Rony Crasta and Ms. Melisha Pinto.
The event began with a prayer led by Jean and team, followed by a Welcome Address by Ms. Harshita Trezza D’Souza. As a mark of respect, saplings were presented to Mr. Rony Crasta by Sr. Dr. M. Vinora AC and to Ms. Melisha Pinto by Mr. Melson D’Souza, Coordinator of the Konkani Sangh.
The guests—Mr. Rony Crasta, Ms. Melisha Pinto, and Sr. Dr. M. Vinora AC—addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the occasion. Ms. Ashel Ancy Pinto announced the winners of the competitions, and prizes were distributed by the guests.
Ms. Lavita Maria Pereira proposed the Vote of Thanks, after which Sr. Dr. M. Vinora AC presented mementoes to the guests. The cultural segment was hosted by Ms Leeshal Fernandes, featuring traditional Konkani performances.
The celebration effectively showcased the richness of Konkani language, culture, and traditions.
