A motivational talk was organized by the PG Department of Computer Applications (MCA), St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on 28 March 2024. The talk was given by Dr. R Nagesh, Dean of Arts and Associate Professor on the topic “A journey from Army to St Agnes”. The session started with a welcome speech by Ms. Vaishnavi Shenoy of II MCA. The resource person highlighted on the key values of life like habits, adaptability of a human being that change according to time and situation. Dr. Nagesh also rendered a poem to ignite the enthusiasm of the students. He recollected his life experiences as an Army Officer. The students were inspired to join the army and serve the nation. He even gave anecdotes about mastering any language within a limited timeframe. He conducted some games for the students and rewarded them. Bindiya Kulal of I MCA proposed the vote of thanks. All the students of I MCA and II MCA were present making the function a grand success. All the faculty of MCA department were also present.
