The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organized a workshop titled “Script to Screen” on March 2, 2026, at A4, Avila Block.
The session was led by independent filmmaker and freelance video creator Karthik Nair, who shared valuable insights into the journey of transforming a script into a visual narrative.
Karthik Nair elaborated on key aspects of filmmaking, including script development, visual storytelling, shot composition, and the creative process involved in bringing ideas to life on screen. He also highlighted the importance of creativity, planning, and technical expertise in producing impactful visual content.
The interactive session engaged students through discussions, examples from real-world projects, and practical tips for aspiring filmmakers.
