The Department of Clinical Psychology organized a student–faculty competition for final-year students on 17 January 2026 as a part of the Student–Faculty Exchange Program, with the aim of strengthening teaching aptitude and enhancing presentation and classroom engagement skills. The program provides a structured platform for students to experience the role of an educator and demonstrate their subject knowledge, communication skills, and confidence in handling an academic audience.
Students presented psychology-related topics such as mood disorder, personality disorder etc. Each presentation was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing the judges to assess depth of understanding, clarity of explanation, and responsiveness.
The presentations were evaluated by Dr. Hitakshi, HOD of Psychology, and Sr. Dr. Vinora A.C., PG Coordinator. Based on overall performance, the following students were selected to take undergraduate classes starting February: Judith, Alia, Anamika, Hansika, Rakshitha, Vaishnavi, Janice, and Mahi. They were selected for their strong conceptual clarity, effective delivery style, and ability to engage learners.
