St. Agnes College, Mangaluru organised Mangalore University Intercollegiate Mangalore Zone Throwball Tournament for Women on 02 March 2022 in the College Grounds. 26 different colleges affiliated to Mangalore University participated in this tournament. Vivekananda College, Puttur won the Championship Trophy. Dr P Dayananda Pai – P Sathisha Pai Government First Grade College, Carstreet won the II Place, SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru won the III Place and St Aloysius College, Mangaluru won IV Place.
Sri Pradeep DSouza, Deputy Director, Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports and Dr Gerald Santhosh DSouza, Director, Department of Physical Education, Mangalore University were the Chief Guests. Sr Dr M. Lydia Fernandes, Joint Secretary, St Agnes Institutions and Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C., Principal, Mrs Vasudha S, Physical Education Director were presided over the programme. PTA Vice-president Mrs. Ujwala was the Chief Guest, Dr John Pinto, Physical Education Director, Government First Grade College, Kavoor was the observer of the Throwball Tournament. Ms Relisha and Ms Mokshitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry and Commerce compered the programme. Physical Culture Instructor, Vasudha S. proposed vote of thanks.
