A technical lecture on ‘Synchronization in Distributed Systems’ was organized by the Post Graduate Department of Big Data Analytics, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research, St Agnes College (Autunomous), Mangaluru on 14 September 2022. The resource person was Dr Krishna Prasad K, Associate Professor, College of Computer and Information Sciences, Srinivas University, Mangaluru. The audience were the II year students of the M.Sc. Big Data Analytics Programme.
Dr Krishna Prasad highlighted the need and importance of time in distributed systems, and the concept of clock synchronization. He also emphasized the need to practice Vedic Mathematics as an important measure to improve attention.
