The workshop was conducted to create awareness among the students about the importance of physical activity, cardiovascular fitness, and a healthy lifestyle through an engaging cardio dance session. The students of III B.Com and the Sports Association assisted in conducting the activities and checking the pulse rates of the participants.
As part of the session, the students’ pulse rates were checked before and after the cardio dance activity. The increase in pulse rate after exercise helped the students understand the effect of physical activity on heart rate. After a period of relaxation and recovery, the pulse rates were checked again and were observed to decrease, giving the students a practical understanding of the body’s response to exercise and recovery.
Dr. Tangarani, Director of Physical Education, guided the students during the cardio dance session and encouraged their active participation. The students participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the activity.
The workshop provided the participants with an interactive and practical learning experience, highlighting the importance of regular physical activity, cardiovascular health, and adequate recovery for maintaining overall fitness.
