Sr Maria Jyotsna AC unfurled the tricolour flag along with the principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC and Sr Dr Maria Roopa AC, the superior & joint secretary, St Agnes Institutions. Sr Maria Jyotsna in her address highlighted the significance of the day and spoke about the rich diversity of India, emphasising that India is a land where all religions and cultures coexist peacefully. She shared inspiring words from Lal Bahadur Shastri, emphasising the importance of personal sacrifice for the greater good of the country. According to her, such sacrifices are the foundation of India’s progress and unity.
Furthermore, Sr Jyotsna highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution, describing it, not just as a book of rules and regulations, but as a guiding path for all citizens to uphold justice, equality, and freedom.
