The Department of commerce organised an Educational Tour to Kodaikanal from 18th to 20th January for the Final Year students. A total of 91 students accompanied by 4 faculty members participated in the tour. The tour aimed to provide practical exposure, relaxation, and an opportunity for students to learn beyond the classroom.
During the visit, students explored famous attractions such as Kodaikanal Lake, Coaker’s Walk, and Pillar Rocks. The sightseeing experience helped students appreciate the natural beauty and geographical significance of the hill station.
A key highlight of the tour was the visit to a local chocolate factory, where students observed the process of making homemade chocolates and learned about small-scale production and marketing.
The tour was informative, enjoyable, and successful in strengthening team spirit among students. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience organized by the Commerce Department.
