The visit began with an informative presentation on the establishment and mission of White Doves. The organizers explained the history of the institution, its objectives and the various services it provides for the people under its care. Videos showcasing the organization’s activities and its positive impact on the lives of its beneficiaries were also presented helping students gain a deeper understanding of its work.
Following the orientation, we were taken on a tour showing all their facilities and even met some of the residents. Then we were taken to the terrace where all the residents had gathered. A short interactive program was conducted to engage with them and create a joyful atmosphere. The activities included fun games such as “Bomb in the City” and “Passing the Ball” These games encouraged participation, laughter and interaction making the session enjoyable for everyone present.
The outreach program was a meaningful and enriching experience. It provided an opportunity to interact with the residents, understand the valuable services offered by White Doves and contribute to their happiness through simple recreational activities. This visit reinforced the importance of compassion, community service and social responsibility.
