The department of UG Chemistry had organized a talk on the topic “Higher studies and employment opportunities in physical and biological sciences” by Prof. Ronald Pinto on 9th July 2019 at 3pm in room A2.
The program began with a prayer song lead by Ms Namitha and team of ІІІ BSc. Ms Alisha Menezes of ІІІ BSc introduced and welcomed the chief guest.
Prof. Ronald Pinto motivated the students to pursue higher education, spoke about its importance and career opportunities in the field of physical and biological sciences. 150 students attended the program. 36 students secured 85% and above in chemistry during the academic year 2018-19 among which 16 students were from 1st BSc(ІІ sem),12 students from 2nd BSc(ІV sem) and 7 students from 3rd BSc(VІ sem) were felicitated by Prof. Ronald Pinto. Ms Areeba from ІІІ BSc proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Maleeha from ІІІ BSc compered the program.
